Non-Indexable Wall Forms
2018, Fiberglass, Plaster, Steel, Magnets
After modeling these forms in wire, clay, foam, papier-mache to name a few, I settled on three interlocking concave and convex forms in white plaster. I cnc’d the molds in foam and they sealed them with resin so I could use them multiple times. I would coat the mold with plaster and lay in fiberglass then layer in more plaster. After the form was ready to take out I would sand and wax them. The forms have embedded metal plates that allow me to pass an all-thread through them and have them all hang together.
